KYMETA™ Flat Panels now Commercially Available

e3 Kymata 2

Following the successful sea trials of the Kymeta flat panels and terminals over the past year, e3 has announced commercial availability of the Kymeta single panel and multi-panel solutions – a real landmark in the evolution of superyacht antennas.

Offering seamless connectivity from Rhode Island to Trinidad, the US East Coast single panel solution is ready to ship now, with availability of the Med solution following closely by the end of year.

With additional time required to move the combiner units from prototype stage to full commercial production, the multi-panel solution is expected to hit the market by Q2 2018. Both solutions will initially be available with Kymeta KĀLO™ service.

The single panel is priced in the region of $63,500 and comes with all the associated hardware and an X7 modem, together with 12 months of Kymeta KĀLO airtime service delivering 40GB/month data and a 4Mb/s down and 1Mb/s up speed. To ensure customers have the choice to meet all their data needs, further airtime providers are due to be announced in the coming months.

e3 to Showcase Flat Panel Antennas at FLIBS

Following on from the buzz created by the Kymeta flat panels at the Monaco Yacht Show, e3 Systems is bringing the yacht show season to a close by taking its game-changing technology to Fort Lauderdale. Once again the company is inviting the yachting sector to see the panels in action with a tour and demonstration of a single panel installation on two motoryachts in the Fleet Miami fleet at Pier 66, alongside the Show.

Visitors to FLIBS are invited to register for a VIP tour here.

In Monaco the tours were a must-attend event, attracting interest from right across the sector as owners, agents, captains, shipyards, re-fitters, service providers and the media lined up to experience the technology for themselves. The e3 and Kymeta team were on hand to answer the many questions, as they will be once again at FLIBS.
