General Information & Marina Services

Simpson Bay Marina on the Caribbean island of St Maarten is a vibrant and popular marina village with over 100 villas, pristine landscaping, internal roads and parking areas. The resort also has 50 shops and offices, eight restaurants, and a swimming pool and tennis courts within walking distance.

The attractive lagoon area is home to more marinas and marine related businesses than in any other part of the island, including sister marina The Yacht Club at Isle de Sol with excellent facilities and home to the lively Fat Turtle Bar and Restaurant.

Provisioning, repairs, and anything else you could possibly need is never a problem at Simpson Bay - take a look in our specially compiled IGY directory to find the best company to meet your needs.

St Maarten is an island with a fascinating balance of cultures, languages and influences. This history is manifest in the local cuisine, and expressed joyfully at Carnival time in April.  You can also enjoy a number of world-class golf courses, luxury shopping at the complex next to the marina, stunning beaches and the whole range of watersports.

Hurricane Updates:

The island of St Maarten/ St Martin was badly hit by hurricanes Irma and Maria in September 2017 causing devastation to the infrastructure and buildings, some of which may not re-open this season.

However, you can be confident that the marina office is fully operational and some slips and amenities, such as bathrooms and showers, will be open by 1 November 2017. Further slips will become available by December.

Please refer to our Hurricane Updates for the latest news.
