The Best Tapas at Cal Peps

Date: 05 Jun 2014

Every time I am in Barcelona, my first culinary port of call is Cal Peps. A short walk from the marina, this is a bustling, busy tapas bar as popular with the locals as it is with visitors to the city. When you walk in, you generally have to line up against the back wall to wait your turn for a seat at the bar. The wait is worth it. Once seated, either at the busy tapas bar, or in the quieter dining room in the back, the feast begins. The razor clams are amazing as is all the seafood but if plainer fare is more to your taste then you cannot get a better tortilla than here.
