General Information & Marina Services

Set right in the heart of the charming fishing port of Sète, IGY's new marina brings the company's expert knowledge of the marina industry and personalised customer service to the South of France.

Sète Marina has 10 superyacht berths suitable for the world's largest vessels, brand new facilities for yacht crew, and quality shops and restaurants on its doorstep. Sète Marina is also an ideal home port for excursions to the Côte d'Azur, Corsica and Sardinia, Spain and the Balearic islands.

From Sète Marina you can take a pleasant stroll to the historic town centre. Here you can indulge in fabulous local cuisine with seafood dishes fresh from the day's catch. Sète is renowned for shellfish farming and fishing, so mussels, clams and oysters are a local speciality.

Sète is also known for its amazing art and museums such as the Musée Paul Valéry, named after the early 20th-century poet, philosopher and native of Sète, Paul Valéry. From here you can enjoy the beautiful views overlooking the Cimetière Marin, a maritime cemetery resting on the cliff. You can also visit the Regional Centre for Contemporary Art, very close to the marina, which hosts regular exhibitions from artists across the region. The local architecture also adds to the artistic landscape with historic buildings, chapels and forts, all worth a visit.

Each year in August, Sète holds water jousting tournaments, a local tradition since 1666 where you can stand along the canals and watch the honouring of the patron saint Fête de la Saint Louis.

Out on the water, you can enjoy a full range of watersports and activities, including stand-up-paddle boarding and kayaking. From Sète Marina you can also take a guided tour through the canals of Sète or take a trip to the Blue Flag awarded beaches nearby - an eight-mile stretch sure to impress.
