Just 16 months after the Caribbean was hit by Hurricanes Irma and Maria, the islands are up and running and busy welcoming superyachts back for the winter season. Spirits are high and by all accounts many of the marinas are in better shape now than ever. The transformation, little more than a year later, is impressive, with a record number of both private and charter yachts returning to their favourite winter cruising grounds.
So you’ve planned your trip and you know which marinas you’re going to visit. Now you need to book a berth for your yacht, find local services or suppliers, and get the low down on the best restaurants and local attractions. Instead of trawling through books and websites trying to find the local information you need, we have a better solution: Marina Profiles.
At the top of the page, you’ll see two drop down menus: one to select the country and another to select the city. You can also search using only keywords or the marina name.
Once you’ve narrowed things down, click ‘Search’ and we’ll come straight back to you with a list of all the ports and marinas located in the area you’ve specified.
Once you've narrowed the search you'll see one or more marinas in the search results. Simply click ‘Enter port’ and you'll find a wide range of information about each marina and the local area, including:
- Full address
- Contact telephone number
- Emergency telephone numbers
- How to book a berth/ slip
- VHF channel(s)
- Maximum length, draft and beam
- Latitude and longitude coordinates
- Port plan
- Images, Google map and marina video
For each marina you'll also find detailed information about:
- Port services (berth rates, bookings, facilities, bunkering, security
- Berths for sale
- Shoreside – a local directory of businesses in and around the marina
- Itineraries and local highlights
As well as the practical information we provide for each marina, you'll find a great selection of articles in our editorial sections - Destinations and Charter & Brokerage - via the article menu on the left side of our homepage.
You can search within each section to find exactly what you're looking for. Alternatively you can use the main search function on the top right side of the homepage to find everything written about a particular marina or destination.
Using our marina directory couldn’t be easier, it’s a great resource and we hope it helps to make your upcoming trip run smoothly.
