Puerto de Mogan is known as the Little Venice of the Canary Islands due to its charming narrow streets bedecked with flowers and linked by vines and bougainvillea, where salty breezes and the lapping of waves diffuse throught the heart of the town. The harbour is sheltered from the trade winds and enjoy 340 sunny days a year, rendering it popular all year round, and the ideal destination for a long stay, as the base for water sports and training, or for a stop-over whilst cruising the islands.
The port is next door to a white sandy beach, whilst the promenade is lined with restaurants, nautical suppliers and services. Market days see a flurry of life and the chance to stock up on souvenirs and local produce.
