One of the finest enclaves on the Costa del Sol, Puerto de la Duquesa is a charming and tranquil harbour where the sea is the star of the show. 

Manilva is halfway between Marbella and Sotogrande within convenient reach of the airports in Gibraltar and Malaga. The town is more peaceful than some of its Costa del Sol neighbours, with a proud connection to the sea, as witnessed every morning when the fishing boats set out. The catch of the day can be enjoyed in many local restaurants where another Andalucian speciality - gazpacho - is a must-try, the perfect, refreshing dish after a day in the sun! 

On summer evenings browse the street market and stop in at a bar where live music is likely to be performed.  

Since 2009, the marina has been certified by ISO 9001 for quality and the 14001 for the environment. The quality of the facilities and the attentive customer service has brought the marina recognition in the form of the Blue Flag, which it receives year on year. 

Given the marina's proximity to Gibraltar, it attracts many foreign clients (80%), above all the British many of whom have made La Duquesa their second home. 

Marina La Duquesa is a must for golf lovers! The province of Malaga has a high concentration of exceptional golf courses, the closest of which overlooks the marina.
