General Information & Marina Services

Marina di Balestrate is located in the most stunning location on Sicily's northern coast, above the Gulf of Castellammare with its famous stretch of golden sandy beach, where crystal clear waters and craggy cliffs and coves are the major attraction.

Sicily doesn't disappoint when it comes to food and drink, in fact you can be assured to find the most flavoursome and freshest produce all year round, in a cuisine that has been made ever richer through the mixing of culltures over the centuries, bringing saffron, chickpeas, rice and a penchant for sweet and sour dishes from Greece, North Africa and Spain. Unbeatable options are fresh seafood, including calimari; pasta dishes like pasta alla norma with crumbly ricotta; dessert wines, blood oranges, melon - all exceptional on the island.

Marina di Balestrate is going through two phases of development to perfect the standard of facilities and service available for guests. The first phase was completed in 2017.

The marina is accessible from Palermo and Trapani's international airports, or by road and rail. By car it's only an hour to Palermo, which by sea is a leisurely 20 nautical miles. Also by sea are: Favignana (50M), Cagliari (195M), Tunis (180M), Malta (200M).
