TYBA Charter Show Returns for Second Showcase in Yalıkavak Marina

The Turkish Yachting & Brokers Association (TYBA) is excited to be inviting its members, partners and friends to join them at the Charter Show in Yalıkavak Marina, the holder of 5 Gold Anchors from The British Yacht Harbor Association (TYHA) that has been voted by the sea and yachting lovers from all over the world in a competitive voting process as the #1 Super Yacht Marina of the World 2018-2019.

Organized by the Turkish Yachting & Brokers Association, the TYBA Charter Show is pleased to announce that the second edition of the charter event will place in Bodrum on 9 - 12 of May. The four-day event will welcome brokers and charter professionals to Yalıkavak Marina to observe some of the latest additions to the Eastern Mediterranean charter market.

Following on from the success of the first event organised in Yalikavak Marina in May 2018, twenty tented exhibitors will be located in the marina. We expect more than 100 international and over 200 Turkish brokers to attend. At the moment, we have already registered 60 yachts to attend the 2nd TYBA Charter Show 2019, and there are more yachts on the waiting list.

The best of Turkey’s luxury yachts at TYBA Charter Show

There is the stunning 39-metre QUEEN OF SALMAKIS yacht registered to dazzle the show with its presence. Built in 2019, she will be the newest addition to the Turkish charter fleet and live representation of the newly-build charter yachts in the region. Measuring 39.1-metres and featuring eight luxurious cabins for 18 guests, she will cruise in Turkey this summer season with charters departing from Bodrum.

Measuring 40-metres, the custom-built gulet ZANZIBA will represent some of the finest interior design examples at the Turkish yacht charter market, accommodating guests by its warm and contemporary interior design by the renowned London-based designers - Studio Indigo. Another 40-metre luxury gulet on display is ROX STAR, a 100% favourite at the Turkish Riviera and Greek Islands.

TYBA Participation and the Eastern Mediterranean Charter Fleet

The TYBA Charter Show is open to all qualified charter brokers and is an excellent opportunity to observe the high-quality charter fleet at the Eastern Mediterranean region. Speaking of the importance of the event for the luxury travel and yachting industry in Turkey, TYBA General Secretary Serhan Cengiz says:

As a testament to the rising popularity of Turkey and the Eastern Mediterranean as a popular destination for yacht charters, the first edition of the TYBA Charter Show welcomed 47 luxury charter yachts to Yalıkavak Marina in 2018, as well as 98 brokers and 20 exhibitors from 19 countries.

In addition to a spectacular opening ceremony, seminar programme and gala dinner, one of the highlights of the show was the 2018 Chef’s Competition. First place was shared by Chef Sener Cihan from CANER IV and Chef David Richmond from MERMAID, with the fierce competition held over two days.

Best Superyacht Marina in the World

Yalıkavak Marina is the official host of the TYBA Charter Show 2019, and was recently awarded the title of Best Super yacht Marina in the World 2018-2019 by the leading global yachting institution The British Yacht Harbour Association (THYA).
