Loro Piana Caribbean Superyacht Regatta & Rendezvous 2017

Caribbean SY Rendezvous Carlo Borlenghi thumb

Established in 2011, the Loro Piana Caribbean Superyacht Regatta & Rendezvous combines three days of racing in the British Virgin Islands with some of the world’s largest and most beautiful sail and motor yachts.

Organised by Boat International Media and the Yacht Club Costa Smeralda, Loro Piana Caribbean Superyacht Regatta & Rendezvous takes place from 10 -13 March 2017.

The sailing superyachts have been divided into four categories to permit each boat in the diverse fleet to compete on a level playing field. The racing is regulated by the OrcSy superyacht handicapping rule adopted since 2015 by the superyacht racing circuit.

There will be an interesting mix of seasoned and first-time participants ranging from 23-60 metres, representing the best in naval architecture and design.

In addition to the Loro Piana Caribbean Superyacht Regatta & Rendezvous, the Westport Rendezvous for motor yachts of 30m and above will be staged to watch the spectacular racing and experience the beauty of the BVIs.
