MYBA Charter Show and Import/Export Services

dominion marine

Chris Allix, Simon Roberts and Rob Jones of Dominion Marine are heading out to Italy this weekend for the MYBA Charter Show, which takes place in Genova from 27-30 April.

Monaco based colleagues, Ken Griggs and Xavier Lamadrid of Dominion Marine SARL, will also be attending the event.

One of the current hot topics is formal export from the EU. According to Spanish Customs in Palma, and possibly elsewhere in Spain, any non-EU registered yacht departing the EU is required to file formal export papers. Without this yachts do not qualify for full VAT relief on their return.

Our colleagues at Martyn Fiddler Associates Limited (MFAL), respected worldwide for their Customs and Duty knowledge, provide a full range of import/export options for yacht owners as part of their menu of VAT services. Importantly, these options include a solution for yachts re-entering the EU from the Caribbean and visiting Palma or Spain for the summer season, even where no previous export documents have been filed.

Further information about this one stop VAT shop is available on the Group's website or please visit our stand (no.35) during the MYBA show and find out more from our team.

If you would like to make an appointment during the show with any of our staff, or if you would like to speak to someone specifically about the VAT services and importation through Portugal, please contact us at info@i.im
