Sunsail Grows its Fleet & Extends Antigua Sailing Season

Following the London Boat Show this month, Sunsail has announced 81 new yachts will be joining its global fleet in 2018. A combination of Jeanneau monohulls and Leopard catamarans, 41 new yachts will be going to the British Virgin Islands and 22 new yachts are heading for Croatia. 

Sunsail’s BVI base re-opened on 9 December last year and their base in St Martin is due to open on 1 February 2018. Both teams have made great progress in the short time since Hurricanes Irma and Maria passed through the islands and they are working hard with local partners to welcome back guests for the sailing season. 

Sunsail has also extended its charter season in Antigua by remaining open until 31 July with plans to expand the fleet throughout the year following a rise in bookings of 32% so far this year. Antigua is known for its stunnng cruising grounds, gentle trade winds, turquoise waters, safe anchorages and 365 beaches, securing its place on the  map as a first class sailing destination.
