Palumbo Shipyards Extend Towards The Black Sea

Palumbo Shipyards extends their network towards the Black Sea in order to provide top quality, complete services at competitive prices.

With the opening of the new site in Costanza, Romania, the aim is to optimise and improve specific services for the engineering and offshore sector.

The expansion runs parallel with the existing shipyards’ network and follows the installation in Palumbo's Tenerife shipyard of a floating dock to ease the process for shipowners and operators. The floating dock will particularly benefit offshore clients, whose repair and conversion projects can be especially complex.

Palumbo Shipyards is a group with two major divisions (shipyards and superyachts) across seven different sites. It represents a major maritime maintenance and refit company with an ever expanding network within the Mediterranean. Celebrating half a century of history, it has grown to become a major player in the shipping industry and is building up its growth and reputation in the luxury yacht world for both new build and refit repair. The “new build” activity, which has been operating under Columbus Yachts since 2008 recently welcomed ISA Yachts, one of the most celebrated international brands in the superyacht industry, as part of the group.
