METSTRADE & IBEX: All About Marinas

Development and growth in the marina sector continue apace, fuelling the popularity of industry forums such as the Marina & Yard Pavilion (MYP) at the METSTRADE Show in Amsterdam.

In 2016 the Marina & Yard Pavilion also hosted the ICOMIA World Marinas Conference, attended by marina professionals from all over the world gathering to network with peers and discuss the future of the burgeoning marina industry.

The Marina & Yard Pavilion has grown substantially over the past four years, hosting 64 exhibitors in 2016, showcasing marina specific equipment from pontoon and boat mooring systems, hoists, cranes and trailers, to management software and safety equipment.

At METSTRADE 2017, from 14-16 November in the RAI Amsterdam, MYP will feature the Marina Symposium together with HISWA Holland Association, providing the perfect platform to discover and share the latest developments in the marina industry.

IBEX takes place from 19-21 September at the Tampa Convention Center, kicking off with the IBEX Industry Breakfast with a presentation of the Innovation Awards.

The event occupies three floors featuring the Composites Pavilion with the Future Materials Display, the Electronics Pavilion with a new, improved Connected Boat, the Compliance, Standards & Education Pavilion, and a new Marina & Yard Pavilion, overlooking the IBEX Docks.

IBEX’s Education Conference is also expanding its training and seminar content and will include free Tech Talk Workshops, pre-conference Super Sessions and the popular IBEX Seminar Series.

The three-day event will encompass almost 60 educational seminars developed in partnership with Professional BoatBuilder magazine, the National Marine Manufacturers Association (NMMA), the American Boat Builders & Repairers Association (ABBRA), American Boat & Yacht Council (ABYC), and National Marine Electronics Association (NMEA).
