Luxury Hospitality Management Appoints New Customer Relations Executive

Please meet Martine van der Velde-O'Brien, our new Customer Relations Executive at Luxury Hospitality Academy. Martine understands what is involved in delivering the highest standards of service, in particular the protocols surrounding etiquette and discretion when serving the world’s wealthiest individuals.

Martine was employed for several years as Chief Stewardess onboard private and charter vessels. Before working in luxury yachting, Martine was employed as Hospitality Manager for a recognised chain of restaurants in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.

“I am very thankful and excited to start this new journey with Luxury Hospitality Academy. To have the opportunity to continue developing my own skills, and to discover qualities and strengths I didn't know I had, is truly amazing. At the Academy we support our students to gain that same experience.

On completion of a course here at the Academy, our participants are more knowledgeable and confident. I can’t wait to meet the adventurous crew out there and get them even more excited about this wonderful industry they have entered,” says Martine.
