VIP Events

To showcase the new Kymeta technology for which e3 is the exclusive superyacht distribution partner, there are a number of VIP events taking place throughout the Show. These include VIP tours of the Kymeta installations aboard the two yachts involved in the recent sea trials - the iconic S/Y Maltese Falcon and M/Y White Rose of Drachs. These guided tours will include the opportunity to test the technology and talk to e3 and Kymeta technical experts and the crews involved. e3 will also be hosting breakfast and lunch meetings together with invite-only parties on board the Maltese Falcon and the White Rose of Drachs.

Demand for the VIP events has been incredibly high with a very limited number of places still available at the time of going to publication. Any readers interested can register for a VIP tour during the Show.

Roger Horner, Group MD of e3 said: "Our VIP events are all designed to give those who want to find out more about this revolutionary technology the opportunity to see it in action and to talk to engineers and crew who have first-hand experience of installing it and working with it on a yacht. Demand has been overwhelming and we hope to be able to accommodate all those with a genuine interest."

Appy Days

e3 has been busy over the past months developing a number of apps to support existing technology and make life for everyone onboard easier than ever.

my e3 for iPhone and my e3 for iPad deliver a new level of convenience and are designed to enhance the management of customer accounts. Providing a new level of control, they put things like data usage and subscriptions within easy reach. They also allow management companies to manage all their vessels from one convenient place.

MYe3 app

The e3 HYBRID app is another development bringing customers a lot of benefits, not least a huge increase in convenience and efficiency. It basically puts the distribution of bandwidth around the yacht at the customer’s fingertips. Amongst many benefits, it ensures that whoever needs the bandwidth most, gets exactly what they need. Particularly useful when the owner is on board and you don't want the crew hogging the bandwidth. This iPad app comes with extremely clear graphics and user interface, together with simple navigation.

The e3 team will be demonstrating how the apps work and explaining the benefits they bring.

The latest updates to its services include cyber security and training and VoIP. The company has recently partnered with G3, a specialist cyber security practice with in-depth expertise of advising shipyards, management companies, captains and owners. It's great news for existing and new e3 customers around the world.

The company's innovative VoIP solution overcomes the issue of having your phone number taken away by a provider and means that yachts will never need to change their number again. Independent of any provider, it's another unique service the company will be showcasing.

The e3 team will be at QS87 Darse Sud for the duration of the Show.

Horner further commented: "This is an incredibly exciting time for e3 and the whole superyacht community. Technology is changing radically and e3 are proud to be part of this revolution as we have always been at the forefront of yacht communications. The Monaco Yacht Show is the perfect place to showcase all our new technology, solutions and apps. They are all designed to support our customers across the globe and will make life easier and more connected for them. We are looking forward to meeting everyone and showing them exactly what we have."
