This summer, all eyes will be focused on France as the country, which has produced such footballing legends as Zinedine Zidane and Thierry Henry, hosts the UEFA EURO 2016 Championship.

With matches to be played on some of the most hallowed turf in the game, including Paris’ Stade de France and Marseille’s Stade Vélodrome, the tournament is sure to be memorable. Fans will tune in from the world over to see if Spain can defend their crown, if Germany can achieve a World Cup/UEFA European Championship double, or if England can finally progress past the quarter finals.

Kicking off in Paris on June 10th and culminating in the same stadium with the final on July 10th, the UEFA EURO 2016 tournament offers an extra incentive to embark on a French Riviera yacht charter this summer.

Along with Stade Vélodrome, Nice’s recently unveiled Allianz Riviera will play host to matches in both the group and knockout stages. Each venue boasts some of the Championship’s most highly anticipated matchups and, while the tournament is a sell out, there are still EURO 2016 hospitality packages available which can also be accommodated within your yacht charter itinerary.
