Genoa Gourmet

The "Genoa Gourmet" seal of approval was launched by the Genoese Chamber of Commerce to identify and promote the top-eschelon of Genoese restaurants.

In fact the "Genoa Gourmet" seal is issued only to those restaurants committed to making classic Genoese dishes prepared with local Protected Designation of Origin (PDO) products, such as Riviera Ligure olive oil and Genoese basil served with PDO Ligurian wines like Golfo del Tigullio - Portofino and Val Polcevera.

The Genoa Gourmet app is a universal application which allows you keep tabs on all the restaurants which have earned the Chamber of Commerce’s seal of approval. In it you can get general restaurant information and read about the dishes on offer. There are also photos as well as details on how to reach each restaurant. Moreover, through the app you can contact the restaurant directly either by phone, mail or through the restaurant’s own website. Narrow your search according to several criteria, such as distance from current location (if you are already in Liguria), by price range or available services, then store your favorite restaurants in the relevant section. If you like the app will let you share restaurant contact info via Facebook, Twitter, email or SMS (iPhone users only).
Extras include a wide selection of information on Genoa and its province, its principle tourist attractions, typical and certified Liguria products (only in Italian Language), along with loads of links to all sorts of Ligurian attractions and Genoa Gourmet events!
